The Talented Mr J. Carter Wood is this Month's Stakhanovite of the Month.

J. Carter Wood is a comparatively recent arrival in the ranks of the Turtle's shock wortkers, but one whose mammoth productivity has already left its mark on the People's Organ.

For his love of the independent record store, his unerring ability to make Hollywood interesting, for the sheer volume of his prose, and for the chance to display his photograph, which neatly illustrates the two Most Favoured Stimulants of the Turtle, the Editors of the Turtle are delighted to register J. Carter Wood's name in our Chelonian Hall of Fame.
